Ms Jisun Park is a creative producer, researcher and arts policy advisor with over 25 years of experience. She co-founded Producer Group DOT, an independent performing arts producers’ organisation established in 2014. She has led programming for major festivals including the Chuncheon International Mime Festival and Seoul Book Fair. Ms Park also served as General Manager for Korea Arts Management Services (KAMS), overseeing the Performing Arts Market in Seoul (PAMS).
In 2014, together with fellow producers across Asia, she co-founded the Asian Producers’ Platform (APP), and later the Circus Asian Network (CAN), connecting and developing contemporary circus in the region.
Ms Park is committed to non-hierarchical arts ecosystems and collaborations between artists and non-artists in exploring the contemporaneity of art. Deeply invested in sustainability and transformation, she focuses on projects addressing climate change, including climate change artist residencies and the Dance X Technology Creative Lab. She has also collaborated with Korean colleagues to translate the Theatre Green Book into Korean, contributing to sustainable practices in the performing arts.
Organisation Description
Producer Group DOT is a collective of performing arts producers founded in 2014. Symbolising a single dot leaping into a new world, DOT connects with other dots to create new spaces and collaborations. Through networking, it expands original programmes with imaginative ideas across theatre, dance, and interdisciplinary arts. Its work spans international co-productions, touring, residencies, and global networks. Collaborating artists include R.O.T.C, Creative Group Noni, The Elephants Laugh, Ambiguous Company, and Untitled Road. Recently, DOT has initiated projects engaging with contemporary issues such as climate change, urban transformation, and the intersections of art and technology.
