After graduation from university in 2018, Sr Felix WU has been involved in providing building surveying services, contributing to building alteration, refurbishment, renovation and repair works across a wide range of projects, from private residential development to government buildings. Currently, he has been serving as Maintenance Surveyor in the ArchSD specialising in technical advisory and facilities upkeep of historic buildings. His work focuses on balancing safety, functionality with cultural value, applying modern surveying techniques to safeguard invaluable historic buildings while ensuring their continued performance for future generations.
Organisation Description
The Architectural Services Department (ArchSD), HKSARG, performs three core functions in relation to Government-owned and Government-funded facilities: Monitoring and Advisory Services, Facilities Upkeep and Facilities Development. Property Services Branch of ArchSD is responsible for providing professional services for upkeeping of Government buildings and other buildings under ArchSD’s responsibility and providing advisory services to the Administration and other Government Departments. On developing and maintaining the public facilities, the department is committed to work closely with its industry partners, user departments and all stakeholders to enhance construction site safety and improvement on the quality of public facilities.
